Laura Sabatel graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Cordoba with distinction, where she studied singing with Professor Ana Luisa Chova. She was an active member of important masterclasses in Paris, Salzburg, Madrid, Barcelona, Verbier... She has also had lessons with Ileana Cotrubas, Ingrid Figur, Isabelle Poulenard, Barbara Bonney, Kiri Te Kanawa, Victoria de los Angeles, Francois Le Roux, Miguel Zanetti and Dalton Baldwin. She was awarded scholarships from different Trusts, and has won multiple prizes, such as the International Acisclo Fernández Carriedo contest in Madrid.
Laura has sung many important soprano roles including Adina, Zerlina, Rosina, Pamina, Blondchen... At the Granada International Music Festival she made her debut in the role of Trujamán to great critical acclaim. Regular opera and concert work has led her to work in and outside of her home country of Spain. She has worked with well-known conductors such as Christian Zacharias, Manuel Hernandez Silva, Pablo Heras Casado, Ramón Tebar and Phillip Pickett.
Among her most important appearances have been at the Palau de la Música (Barcelona), The Foz Palace (Lisbon), The Bourglinter Castle (Luxemburg), The National Auditorium of Barcelona, The Teatro Monumental of Madrid, The Lima Opera House (Perú), The Granada Intenational Music Festival and The Verbier Festival.
